IntroductionAll places are immersed in rich folklore and legend. Iroquois County is no different. I first began my experience with ghost hunting after watching television programs aimed at capturing paranormal evidence on film.My earliest pictures were taken with a regular 35mm camera. Most of them didn't turn out well, due to the camera's simplicity and my lack of experience. I then switched to a Kodak DC-215 digital camera. This brought both problems and improvements. The Kodak's night pictures turned out with much better quality and focus than the 35mm, but night pictures with a digital camera sometimes produce anomalies on film which resembled the paranormal activity captured by other ghost hunters. All pictures posted on this website are submitted merely as objects of question for study and discussion. They may be evidence of paranormal activity, but I make no assertations either way. As the accuracy of night pictures with my own limited resources is questionable, no picture I've taken can fully offer conclusive proof that any of these places are in fact haunted. Most professional ghost hunters list a variety of different photographic anomalies as evidence of supernatural activity. The semi-transparent image of a human form is actually one of the rarest pictures found. Most common are strange floating orbs, and "funnels" of energy. Most of the anomalies I've posted are similiar to the orbs on other ghost hunters' websites. I've made sure to include directions to all the locations featured on this website. Also included are small descriptions of each site, and as much legend and folklore as I could find. If you know of any more information which may be of use, please e-mail me with your story. |
