Crescent City Bridge The Story:  This is an old iron truss bridge located Northwest of Crescent City. The story I heard as to its origins comes from Mandy. Her story involves some kids that were out on the bridge drinking. A passing car didn't see them, and hit and killed them all. This is one of those places that legend says you must do a certain sequence of events to witness the haunting phenomenon. You first drive over the bridge, then turn around in the road. You then drive back onto the bridge, rolling down your windows and turning off the car (including the lights and radio). I've been told that common events at the bridge include hearing footsteps in the water (I have experienced this), and tapping on the car. There are also reports of a face peering into the passenger-side window. People I've been with have reported seeing what was described as a "figure of a man" that appeared to be composed of the wavy lines of heat you see coming off a fire. Directions: Traveling West out of Crescent City, turn right (North) onto Route 49 for 1.2 miles. Turn left (West) onto 1900N for 1.6 miles. The road will curve about halfway there, with a house in front of the curve. Continue going West after the curve. The only worthwhile picture I have comes from ghost hunting with Alex. The camera found a small fuzzy blob in the lower right hand corner of the screen that has no resemblence to any anomalies produced by my digital camera.
