Iroquois TrestleThe story: I've been told the Iroquois Trestle is the site of a train derailment a couple of decades back. I haven't been able to do any research on this claim as of yet, but if you know the real story, e-mail me.I first started going out to the bridge a few years back with Nathan. There was no mention of haunting, as neither of us had heard the story. We went there frequently, but the more we were there, the more we noticed strange rustling in the woods, and what sounded like footsteps in the forest and even in the water. It eventually freaked us out enough that we quit going there for almost a year. I got curious and went back again with Zach who told me the story of the derailment. Since then it has become a popular place to ghost hunt. Directions:
This dirt path can be driven on, but you will have to go in reverse on the way back. Be careful when walking on the bridge in winter months and periods of rain. ----- These pictures are probably just anomalies of my digital camera, but I include them because of their peculiarity and because the same orb seems to show up in succession, at different ends of the bridge. They were taken from the north end of the bridge looking south. After the first picture appeared abnormal in my camera's review screen, I held the camera in the same position and took another picture. The second one shows what seems to be the same orb, but at the other end of the bridge. Click the thumbnails to view a larger image.
