grokking in fullness

December 14, 2004

I was either at work or on a sinking ship. It doesn't matter which, they both are essentially the same thing. Anyway, there were all these tanks around which may have been similiar to the water-tight compartments you heard about on the movie Titanic.

Anyway, these things were filling with water, and as the ship's captain or engineer or whatever, it was my job to make sure the water was pumped out so the ship wouldn't sink. A passenger, or some other ship's official had the responsibility of helping me.

He insisted that his team of daschunds could get the water out, and so he placed several of them in one of the tanks.

My experience with Kelly's daschunds did not leave me looking forward to working with a team of them, so I protested. But it wasn't until the dogs' presence had no effect on the rising water that the man listened to me. We then had to save them before they drowned.
