grokking in fullness

March 27, 2002 - Wednesday

I went with William this morning to the gun shop in Rensselear. He needed to pick up some scope mounts for his .358, shotgun shells, and some gun cases. I fell in love with a 10/.22 while I was there, and am planning to go back on Friday to make a down payment. I counted all the change in my piggy-bank and found that I have $120 of the $150 I will need for the gun. I'm going to put it on lay-a-way until my next paycheck so someone doesn't buy it from under me.

I also got to see William's recently aquired gun collection for the first time today. His .38 revolver is nice - I can't wait to shoot it. It made me realize just how badly I want a pistol. I love 'em I love 'em I love 'em!

After the gun shop, William and I visited Keith in Goodland. The baby is doing well. I believe he said Cain will be four months old tomorrow, or next week, or sumthin.' We made sure to bitch him out for never stopping by to visit anyone. He said he plans on having a lot of weekend cookouts this summer, and that he'd make sure to invite everyone.
