February 7, 2005 - Monday | 9:32 AM, CST Yesterday morning I woke up feeling extremely hot. The feeling increased, along with an intense stomach discomfort. Soon I realized that I was about to vomit... something which I have not done in over two years. I figured I possibly had a bug that has been going around, or I had been food poisoning from Pedro's spicy fajitas. Either way, because I had not eaten in thirteen hours, it was a very painful experience. But after sleeping for a good majority of the last two days, I seem to be fully recovered. I realize that I have not written the conclusions regarding two of my previous adventures. First of all, I received another letter from my health insurance company. They paid the heart monitor in full, which means I do not have to fight them to avoid shelling out five hundred dollars out of my own pocket. Many kudos to that. Also, I still haven't heard from Tina. Its strange, but I speak to probably less than half of my graduating class, and it doesn't bother me in the least. However, it grates on me not to have contact with old friends. Mandy hasn't heard from her either, and its not like Tina to disappear from the face of the earth. I used an online phone book, and I thought I had hit success. There was one listing under that name, and it even matched her middle initial. The only oddity: it was in Pennsylvania. I called the number, realizing it might be an uncomfortable situation if strangers answered, but was spared from that fate when the answering machine picked up and the woman speaking was definately not her. Still, I am puzzled by all this, and will, I suppose, continue my search. Having nothing else to report, I have written a few haikus relating to the many aspects of the world famous Zach Meadows.
main character of my site fills us with intrigue.
Like a red spider
Huge, goofy glasses
Once dependable
A rusty shitbox
Sitting in undies
Visiting my house
Thank you my good friend
They're not terribly brilliant, but I did stick true to the 5, 7, 5 rule. Oh, and by the way, Mom turned forty-eight yesterday! Happy birthday to her. |
