The other morning I woke up to hear a cat crying outside my house. It was a tiny gray kitten sitting below my bedroom window. Feeling sorry for it, and wanting to get to bed, I fed it some lunchmeat and some milk. The kitten was probably the most emaciated thing I'd ever seen, and the fact that it was near starvation was evident by the way in which the skin stretched over its bones like a drum.
Anyway, as can be expected from feeding a stray animal, the cat stuck around. Not to mention that Kelly has been bugging me for a cat for over a year now. So anyway, I've decided to let it stay around. We tentatively decided to call it "Trip," because of his (we think) tendency to rub against our feet and try to run between your legs as you walk. I took a picture of it doing just that.
I finally got to see Andy's apartment last weekend. He and Gary stopped by my house on Sunday morning and took me out for breakfast. Gary wanted to know if I'd like to go with him to drop Andy off at his apartment, and I agreed. First, we had to pick up some records that Andy had bought from my Uncle Ron. There were so many that it filled the entire trunk of Gary's car. And whats even better, is that we had to carry them up these three flights of stairs.
But I was nevertheless glad to finally visit Andy's apartment. For those of you who have never done so, it is an experience in the abnormal. With the penguin shrine and what not... But very interesting.
I need to take a nap before work, so I can't write all that I had originally intended. But I will add a picture of Kelly and I posing at Bryan's party this weekend. And here is a picture of Kelly looking cute on a couch.
Tomorrow's (or the next day's) episode: Auto Zone and the Broken Truck.
